Speech and Language Therapy with Brittany Torres, SLP
Individualized Evaluations | Customized Therapy Sessions | Purposeful Communication Skill Design
Play-based techniques and natural environment learning to create engaging and supportive experiences that meet children where they are at in their speech skills. Each session is purposefully designed to support your child in developing communication skills specific to their unique speech and language needs.
Tiny Heart, Big Voice is heart-centered and child-focused speech therapy.
I believe every child deserves the opportunity to find their voice— whether it’s to
communicate their wants and needs or to build meaningful relationships with family and friends.

My goal is to foster communication skills in a way that feels fun, natural, and empowering for each child.

These methods are designed not only to be effective in therapy but also to easily carry over into the home, empowering parents with tools to continue fostering communication growth.
Understanding which service is right for your child can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to guide you through the process.
During an initial consultation, we’ll discuss your child’s specific needs, challenges, and goals. This helps us determine if a comprehensive evaluation or individualized therapy are necessary, or if parent and family coaching would be the best fit.

If your child requires direct support developing their speech or language skills, we may move forward with a formal evaluation and by a personalized therapy plan.
Alternatively, if you’re seeking guidance on how to support your child’s communication skills in daily life, we can explore coaching sessions tailored to your family’s routines—whether at home or in the community.

I’m committed to finding the best approach for your family, ensuring that your child receives the support they need in the most effective and practical way possible.

I also welcome children who already have a diagnosis and are in need of targeted speech and language services. Whether your child has been diagnosed with a speech delay, language disorder, or other communication challenges, I am here to provide specialized support tailored to their unique needs.
Together, we will build on their existing strengths and work towards specific goals, ensuring that the therapy aligns with their individual diagnosis. My focus is on creating a nurturing and effective environment where your child can continue to grow and thrive, while also equipping you with strategies to reinforce their progress at home and in the community.

Brittany, has been phenomenal with my son. He was nervous about meeting with her and the initial evaluation but Brittany made him feel very comfortable and cared for. She’s also made me feel comfortable and validated some of my concerns about my son’s speech. She is truly special and I believe she has a gift for working one on one with children to help them better communicate with others. Her professionalism, knowledge, and skills were highly noticeable when she gave me her thoughts and expert evaluation of my son’s speech delays. Working with her is encouraging because I know my son will get the best treatment and care for his specific language needs.
- Tania

What is the process of evaluating and receiving treatment? To begin, you will complete a background packet that provides important information about your child’s history.
